GROUP OFFICIALLY RECOGNIZED
As of September 2011, the IMA student group at Washington State
University – Vancouver became an officially recognized student
chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants.
Congratulations to the students and faculty who worked to
organize the chapter and whose ongoing efforts will help it grow
and succeed. Welcome to the Portland area IMA community.
PORTLAND IMA SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY
The Portland Chapter of the IMA has changed the scholarship amounts to align with the new two-part format. For candidates who successfully complete a CMA exam, the Chapter will reimburse up to $200 of each $350 exam registration fee. This is a great opportunity to reduce your out of pocket investment. PORTLAND IMA TAKES 4th IN THE 2011 CHAPTER COMPETITION
Congratulations to the entire Portland Chapter and President Jill Ward for ranking 4th out 78 chapters in the 2010-11 chapter competition. Chapters earn points through membership, education, certification, and level of service. By placing 4th the chapter receives higher levels of financial support from the national organization allowing us to offer more value to our chapter members. |
