CMA Exam Announcement Effective May 2010
Enrollment in the new CMA program will begin in spring
2010. Candidates may take the new CMA examinations
starting May 1, 2010.

consist of two exam parts rather than four. The updated
exam’s subject matter places greater emphasis on the
issues most critical to accountants and financial
professionals in business, including financial planning,
analysis, control and decision support. See the

IMA Registration Cut-Off Changed for CMA Parts 1, 2 and
3:
The IMA has announced that registrations for CMA Parts 1,
2 or 3 received on or after February 1st, June 1st, or
October 1st will be applied to the next testing window.
The previous cut-off was the 16th of the month. The
procedures and dates for CMA Part 4 have not changed.
For example, you could previously register for the
September / October testing window through October 15th.
The new cut-off is September 30th.
